Bassoon Academic Studies	§ 1996 – 2004: Advanced level course of Bassoon with Robert Glassburner, at the Music Conservatoire of Porto. § 2004 – 2006: Master Degree in Advanced Performance Studies – Bassoon – at the Royal College of Music, London studying bassoon with Andrea de Flammineis and contrabassoon with Martin Field.
Other academic qualifications	1998 – 2003: Licentiate Degree (5 years programme) in Economics at the University of Porto, Portugal.
