SEPTEMBER 2000

A Musical Idyll

There will be a musical idyll in memory of Rosemary Chaffey (née Sanderson) taking place on Sunday 8th October in the lovely setting of Southwark Cathedral (by kind permission of the Dean).  The concert will start at 6.30pm and admission will be free.  The artists taking part and the programme will be announced in September and further details will be available through MAS nearer the time.  Visitors on this day may wish to note that Choral Evensong will be sung in the Cathedral at 3pm.

Rosemary, who joined MAS in 1991, sadly lost her battle with Leukaemia on Sunday 30th April this year and passed away peacefully at the Royal Free Hospital in London.  Since than her family and friends have raised over £1,200 for the hospital, and this figure is still rising.

If anyone wishes to contribute to this fund please contact:

E H Crouch, Funeral Directors, 23a Hitchin Street, Baldock, Herts.

PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU!

Just a reminder about the importance of keeping your diaries with us up to date.  Our service is unique because we have the ability to take on work for our clients according to their instructions.  Obviously, it is beneficial to everyone if we maintain our reputation with the fixers for reliability and efficiency.  Remember that work we accept on your behalf constitutes a verbal contract.

So next time you call, please take an extra minute to check that your diary is working how you want it to.

Double check your instruction card as something you had told us last month may not still be relevant today.

Make sure that we have ALL your diary commitments, no matter how small.  If you have personal plans ask us to put the time on refer.

By doing this at regular intervals we can run your diary more efficiently.
