DIARY MANTAINENCE

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of keeping their diary with us up to date.  Our service is unique because we have the ability to take on work for our clients according to their instructions, but it is important to remember that work we accept on your behalf constitutes a verbal contract with the fixer.

We would be grateful if you can spare us a little time next time you call to check that your diary is working in a way that suits you.  Please clarify that the instructions we use to refer or take on work are correct, and that we have all of your diary commitments - no matter how small.  If you have personal plans, ask us to put the time on refer.

By doing this at regular intervals we can run your diary more efficiently. If you would like to go through your instructions, please mention it next time you call. We can take diary updates over the phone, by email, or by fax. If you would like to be able to update your own diary over the internet please ask us about the internet diary.

TEXT MESSAGES

We have the facility to send you a text to alert you to new diary messages. If you would like more information, please mention it next time you call. However, we are unable to receive replies to text messages. So please ALWAYS respond to texts by calling the office.

CV BROCHURE

Fixers will be receiving the latest edition of our CV publication in September. If you would like to update your entry, or have not yet sent us a copy of your CV and would like it to be included, please make sure we have received it by the 1st September 2004.

You can send your CV to us by post, fax or email. Your full CV will automatically be posted on our website and a shorter version will be included in the brochure.

Staff News

Congratulations go to Angela who has been promoted to the position of manager.

This quarter we were sorry to say goodbyes to 2 members of the MAS team:

Abbie is currently taking a 10 month sabbatical to go travelling. Our thoughts are with her as she jets around the world, and we look forward to her safe return in April.

Kirsten is now living & working Reading. We wish her all the best in her new life.

We would also like to welcome two new members of staff to the team: Sam joins us after recently completing his degree at Cardiff University, he is a keen singer and euphonium player. Catherine studied for her music degree at Southampton University, plays a myriad of instruments but is especially keen on recorder.
