The mas
online diary has been up and running for the past few
months and we have been getting
very positive feedback from clients who are using the service. Some examples
of their comments are: “The best part is knowing I have
complete control of my own diary - if I dash off to do some last minute work
I can just pop it in before I go and if something else comes in I know that
my diary is completely up to date” -
Adrian Spillet, Percussion “I am connected to my computer
intravenously so it is great to be able to update my diary while I sit here”
- Molly Gibbs, Bassoon “The mas
online diary is just another way of keeping my diary up to
date - it’s no different to calling in, but I find that it’s more convenient
for me” - Lewis Edney, Bass Trombone For
those of you who are not aware, clients are now able to access their
messages, view and make changes to their diary at any time in any part of the
world via the internet. This facility is not just for the more technocratic amongst
us; the software is simple and straightforward to use. So how do you get started? Simply call us and ask to speak to someone about mas
online. We will supply you with
your username and password, along with a comprehensive user manual that will
help answer any queries you may have. After
your initial introduction (usually with Richard Smith), we offer four
different levels of access; these range from simply being able to see your
diary and messages, through to being able to update your diary, indicate you
have collected your messages and send messages to other clients and fixers. |
Please
call the office and ask to speak to Richard, Tania or Angela to discuss which
level is right for you. Signing up to mas online is free for all of our clients, but if you feel it is not for you, then don’t
worry – MAS continues to function exactly as before. What Does mas online Offer? -
Security: Secure access to
your own diary, only MAS staff and you will be able to see it. -
Choice: You choose how much
control you want over your diary. You may just wish to see your diary and
read your own messages, or you may prefer to be able to collect and reply to
messages, update your own diary and amend your personal details online. -
Worldwide Access: Another
way to collect and reply to your messages whenever you wish, no matter where
you are in the world! -
Support: An accompanying
manual, advice from the MAS office and online training sessions with Richard
Smith all provided. |

Ensembles We
have recently received a number of calls from members of the public who wish to
book a group for a function, but don’t know where to begin. As
a result, we have begun to compile a directory of small ensembles that
members of the service run or belong too. We
at MAS believe it would be beneficial to all involved if we could provide a
list of groups, including a short description of the type of work they do and
contact details. If
you would like your group to be included in the directory please post, fax or
email details to the office ASAP.
Inclusion in the directory is free. |
