Adrian Bradbury - Cello Adrian began playing the cello at the age of seven and became a principal player of the National Youth Orchestra. After studying Veterinary Science and Music at Churchill College, Cambridge he won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. He has made chamber music broadcasts on BBC Radio with London Sinfonietta, Jane's Minstrels, The Composers' Ensemble, Trio Gemelli, Chamber Domaine and the Scottish Ensemble and has recorded on CD with all those groups together with Touchwood piano quartet (Daily Telegraph 'CD of the Month' earlier this year). More lucrative recordings include singles with Boyzone and Westlife. Chamber music concerts have involved tours of Europe, USA and the Far East, with repeated appearances at the Wigmore Hall, the South Bank and the Carnegie Hall, together with major festivals (Cheltenham, Huddersfield, Orkney, Turku and Aarhus) and the Prom chamber music series. In addition to this he has performed concertos in seven European countries, and is in demand as guest principal with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic.
