Jim Sleigh–Viola

Orchestral work since 1988: LSO, LFO (as principal), Scottish Ens and BBC Scottish Symphony (guest leading), London Sinfonietta and Academy of Saint Martins. Jim plays regularly as Principal with Orchestra of Saint John's, New London Orchestra, London Festival Orchestra, Goldberg Ensemble, London Musici and BBC NOW. 1982 - 88: Co-princ with Scottish Chamber Orch . 1981 - 1982: Principal with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. 1979 - 1981: Principal for Manchester Camerata and Northern Ballet. Other: Various Film, TV, Pop and commercial sessions. Member of the Faber Trio between 1982 - 1985 (flute, harp & viola).
